With two dynamic rooms, custom food and drink packages, full accessibility, and an atmosphere that’s anything but ordinary, CONFESSION makes it easy to create an event that’s truly unforgettable.

Tucked away in the back streets of urban westside suburb Port Adelaide, inside a former 1850s church, is CONFESSION.

An alluring sanctuary featuring a semi-gothic aesthetic combined with intimate speakeasy vibes, CONFESSION is the perfect backdrop for any occasion – from birthdays, work functions and Christmas parties to weddings, funerals and everything in between.

THE MENU

Our menu reflects modern Australian cuisine featuring fresh seasonal local produce combined with the finest of drink offerings, including premium South Australian wines, local beers from our friends at Pirate Life and award winning French champagnes.

The ethos behind our menu is fun, easy-to-eat food that’s full of flavour and designed for sharing with friends. Catering to all tastes and dietary requirements, we have a selection of food and drink packages that can be completely customised to suit your event.

Our grazing varieties include premium quality South Australian produce. With a selection of local cheese, cold meats, dips, fruits, nuts, olives, sweets and so much more. Your guests will leave in awe (vegan option available)

LIVE PERFORMANCES
For us at CONFESSION, the entertainment is part of the experience, and we’re upping the ante with bespoke entertainment available for your function. With access to the best entertainers, which range from live bands, DJs and a variety of performance artists, including cabaret and burlesque performers, we can customise and put on a show like no other for your event.
ACCESSIBILITY
We’re proud to be an accessibility-focused venue and committed to inclusivity. Features include a ramp entrance and main stage, 3 x DDA-compliant accessible bathrooms, lowered bar benches, designated wheelchair seating, the availability of Braille menus and Auslan interpreters, and the welcoming of Guide Dogs into the venue.

We’re committed to ensuring everyone feels valued and respected, and discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, or any other factor has no place within our space.

do you cater for vegeterians?

We absolutely do. We can also tailor make a menu to suit your clienteles dietary requirements.

There is a train station 300 m from the building. It’s approximately a five minute walk. There is also bus stops close to the building.

The brand-new Quest Hotel Port Adelaide is just up the road. It’s approximately a five minutes walk from our building. We can assist with hotel reservations if needed.

We host everything from milestone birthdays, corporate parties, and engagement celebrations to cabaret nights, showcases, and brand launches.

We are licensed until 2am. This gives you plenty of time to party without rushing the night.

Yes! Every event is different, so we offer flexible packages to suit your vision, from drinks to layout to entertainment.

Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring your own DJ, performers, or entertainment—we just ask that they connect with our team beforehand to ensure compatibility with our sound system.

Yes, we have a minimum spend requirement depending on the day and size of your event. Get in touch for a quick quote.

Of course. We highly recommend booking a tour so you can see the space, meet the team, and start planning your event.

We have in-house catering options and grazing packages, but external catering may be allowed for specific cultural or themed events—just ask us.

A $1000 deposit secures your date. This is fully refundable after the event provided there’s no damage and no outstanding bar tabs.
